McFarlane Toys Announces New ‘HALO’ Exclusives for Summer 2009

'HALO' ACTION FIGURE AVAILABLE DURING SAN DIEGO CONVENTION

TEMPE, Ariz. – April 16, 2009 - McFarlane Toys has ‘HALO’ collectors and fans covered this summer with two exclusive figure releases.

McFarlane Toys will be offering a Toys "R" Us GRIFBALL SPARTAN to be sold during San Diego Comic-Con 2009. This Spartan features the highly coveted Recon armor, plus a Bomb, Gravity Hammer and Sword Hilt. The Grifball Spartan is limited to 6,000 pieces and will sell for $15 by Toys “R” Us.

The McFarlane Toys Grifball Spartan marks the first time an action figure has been created based on the Grifball game. Created by Rooster Teeth, Grifball is an intense, fast-paced sport video game that's played on an open court between two teams of four players.
